I couldn’t resist. This was too cute not to post.

She’a a little quirky, but I love Zoey Deschanel’s deep, jazzy, raspy, bluesy voice. (i also happen to love 500 Days of Summer and think these two should start dating. immediately.)

So what did you do for New Years Eve, friends?

We had a somewhat low-key night this year ~ but full and fun nonetheless. My honey and I first grabbed dinner downtown with one of our favorite couples, Steph & Jordan. After stuffing ourselves with yummy Italian food, and of course having some great conversation, good laughs & wine, we floated on over to our dear friend Kate’s New Year’s Party, also downtown…with a few more bottles of wine (and some leftover holiday cookies) in hand.

We didn’t get a chance to capture too much of the night in pictures, but it was a ton of fun. And I did manage to take this one shot of us toasting when the clock struck twelve.
